Today I sit here writing this to you, from one of my favourite working spots in Bali, a cafe that has become so familiar to me, knowing that this chapter is coming a close.

As I inch closer and closer to leaving what now feels my home, I have many mixed emotions rising up.

There is a sadness, a grief to say goodbye to this beautiful life I’ve been living for the past 6 months. To the incredible humans I’ve met here, my community. There’s also excitement to see the ones I love back home, for the reunions, the first hugs after 6 months apart. But, somehow, home no longer feels like the right word for Melbourne.

All of my most recent newsletters I’ve told you about things that I’ve learnt while being away, pushing myself out of my comfort zone, leaning into a life that feels new but so fulfilling, finding joy again, and creating a life for myself where I can feel my most creative.

I know that the me that arrived here in Bali in June, she is so different. She was yearning to feel all of those things I feel now. She was equally terrified and excited, but she knew big things had to shift in order to reach a life that she dreamed of. She was willing to make some big leaps to heal, to feel inspired again, to live in creativity, to live in a complete flow state.

All of these lessons I will take with me.

My journey may not resonate with you at all, but if it has, even a little bit, I hope that you know you have so much power to create a life where you feel joy, fulfilment, creativity, love, passion, empowerment every single day. There are always sacrifices you have to make, it might be bumpy to get there, but I want you to know, it is possible. It doesn’t mean that you ignore life’s inevitable challenges, instead you are able to move through them with so much more grace.

I’m looking forward to an Aussie summer, then I have some big plans and ideas that I plan to manifest into 2024 💫
